Tessa Blanchard Says She Has Not Signed A Contract With TNA Wrestling

The following was sent to us:

Last night, during the EWA (Evolution Wrestling Alliance) December to Remember event held in Toa Baja, Puerto Rico, Joel Torres from Contralona spoke with Tessa Blanchard after losing the EWA women’s championship to La Destructora Nancy. Blanchard made clear her respect for her rival.

“She is a strong woman, I always knew that. Tonight was not my night, but if anyone here in Puerto Rico deserves to be champion, it is Nancy”.

Tessa spoke fondly of her relationship with Puerto Rico, describing the island as a special place where she always feels at home.

From Mexico to TNA: A Star’s Journey

2024 was a busy year for Tessa. From her outstanding participation with Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) in Mexico to her unexpected return to Impact Wrestling (now TNA) at Final Resolution, every step has been a showcase of her versatility and passion for the sport. However, his return to TNA doesn’t mean he has closed the door on other opportunities.

“Deciding to appear in Impact (TNA) was complicated because I have a lot of respect for CMLL. I grew up there as a wrestler, and I’m grateful to them for the opportunities they gave me,” she explained. Despite that, Blanchard made it clear that she parted ways with CMLL and has not signed a contract with TNA Wrestling, but her heart still holds a special place for Impact. “That’s my home. I had some of the most important stories of my career there. I want to prove that I can still compete at the highest level.”

2025: A Significant Year for Tessa Blanchard

Tessa is clear about what she wants for next year: a head-to-head match against Jordynne Grace, one of TNA’s biggest names.

“She’s at the top of her (Grace) career, but I think if I had been in Impact (TNA) all this year, her success would be different. I want to prove who is the best wrestler in the world. I’ve faced men, and women, won championships, and lived great storylines, and I’m ready to do it again.”

With self-confidence and a clear vision of her future, Tessa Blanchard promises that 2025 will be an unforgettable year for wrestling fans. Her history with Puerto Rico and her desire to conquer new challenges make her path one that everyone will want to follow closely.
