WWE aired a cryptic tease featuring a zero with a line through it on Monday’s WWE Raw episode, which got fans speculating whether it could be used for a former AEW star.
With Penta El Zero Miedo departing from AEW earlier this month and reportedly headed to WWE, fans first thought it was for him since it would make the most sense. He previously filed a trademark for “Cero Miedo” several months ago, which translates into “Zero Fear.”
PWInsider.com reports, “The belief among those we’ve spoken with is that the video is for former AEW and Lucha Underground star Penta.” It’s unclear exactly when he could be making his debut, but it would make sense for it to be the January 6th show as that’s the Raw Netflix premiere episode.
Penta’s tag team partner, Rey Fenix, also has interest from WWE. However, because AEW added time to his deal due to missed time from injuries, the belief is close to a year was added to the deal.
Once Fenix is free and clear of his AEW deal, he is expected to join his brother in WWE.
