More International WWE Premium Live Events Expected In 2025

WWE has taken its Premium Live Events internationally more than ever in 2024, with several events taking place outside the United States. That trend will continue into 2025.

Notable WWE PLEs outside the US include Elimination Chamber in Australia, Money in the Bank in Canada, Bash in Berlin at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin, Germany, and Survivor Series: WarGames in Canada. WWE has a deal with Saudi Arabia to hold two PLEs each year for a ten-year deal they have in place.

The cities wanting the international events paid WWE a site fee to host the shows there. WWE’s Executive VP of Talent Relations and Head of Communications, Chris Legentil, stated on the Sports Business Journal Sports Media podcast that they intend to do more international shows in 2025.

“This year alone, we did more than half our [PLEs] outside the U.S. Look for more of that when we’re in partnership with Netflix because we’re going to be working with them hand-in-hand to select locations across the world where we can grow our audience and hopefully gain some subscribers for them.”

So far, WWE has announced four PLEs for next year. The only event outside of the United States is March’s Elimination Chamber in Canada.
