WWE’s massive deal to bring Monday Night Raw to Netflix is quickly approaching the January 6th premiere date. However, there remains speculation regarding the show’s format and presentation.
While initial reports suggested a return to the familiar three-hour broadcast, there has been some speculation that it could be a little shorter than three hours due to Netflix being flexible with the run time.
The company has already confirmed the likes of CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns vs. Solo Sikoa, and Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan vs. Rhea Ripley for the show. More big matches and stars are expected to be announced soon.
Fightful Select reports that they spoke with talent at the latest Raw tapings, who stated they weren’t told exactly how long the show would be on the streamer. A source in WWE stated, “Netflix has no hard outs, and it appears there will be plenty of flexibility.”
Last Friday, WWE announced that SmackDown would be extended from two to three hours starting on January 3rd.
