Injured WWE Star Is Getting Closer To In-Ring Return

One WWE star looks to be getting closer to making a return to in-ring action after being on the sidelines for the last six months.

Javier Bernal, who signed with WWE in 2021, stated in June that he broke his foot in a few places and would need around six months to heal from the injury after having surgery. Bernal had just worked an NXT Level-Up match before making the announcement.

This is where he and Drake Morreaux put over Duke Hudson and Riley Osborne of Chase U before being sidelined. He seemingly suffered the injury while trying to catch Osborne on a dive in that bout. He underwent surgery in June.

Bernal took to Twitter to share footage of him running the ropes. Check it out below:

We wish him a speedy recovery.
