TNA Star Undergoes Surgery

TNA will be without one of its stars to start off the new year.

At the TNA Turning Point special from the Benton Convention Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, one star was said to be banged up after their match.

Joe Hendry defeated Brian Myers, Eric Young, Alex Hammerstone, John Skyler, and Rhino by pinfall in a six-way Thanksgiving Turkey Bowl match. As previously reported by PWInsider.com, Hammerstone banged up his knee during the match.

No further details about the injury, including the severity, were provided at the time. Hammerstone took to Twitter late Monday night to share a photo of himself in the hospital, indicating he had surgery.

The caption of the post read, “Post panic attack.” We wish him a speedy recovery.
