Absent WWE Star Is Returning To In-Ring Action

WWE is sending another talent over to Japan to work a show in Pro Wrestling NOAH.

Under Vince McMahon, Omos was regularly used on television, where he was paired with MVP as his manager and put over Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 39 in 2023. Ever since Triple H took over WWE’s main roster creative, Omos’s role in WWE has been reduced, mostly used at live events.

Omos’ last match was on the April 5th episode of SmackDown, where he worked the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. Past reports suggest WWE officials felt Omos could be used in the attraction role, something The Undertaker echoed on his podcast.

Pro Wrestling NOAH announced today that Omos will appear at NOAH’s The New Year show on January 1, 2025. As previously noted, WWE Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura will wrestle on this show as he faces Ulka Sasaki.

It’s unclear when WWE will use Omos again.
