WWE Has Discussed Two Locations For Future NXT TV Events

As WWE heads into 2025, the company will look to continue to grow the NXT brand by taking it on the road for weekly television events and premium live events.

WWE NXT previously ran the 2300 Arena, aka the ECW Arena, in November, in addition to other venues for TV. They will hold New Year’s Evil on January 7th from Los Angeles, California, at the Shrine Expo Hall with NXT Champion Trick Williams vs. Oba Femi vs. Eddy Thorpe and NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez vs. Giulia.

PWInsider.com reports, “There’s been some talk of doing NXT tapings next year in Nashville as well as The Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC but no idea whether any official dates have been locked in.”

Dave Meltzer previously reported in November that WWE NXT attempted to book a date at the Hammerstein Ballroom to follow up on the 2300 Arena success, but the date was too close to the dates AEW had booked. As a result, they put plans to hold a show at the venue on hold.

Things confirmed for next week’s NXT include Stephanie Vaquer vs. Cora Jade, an NXT Tag Team Championship number one contender’s match with Tavion Heights & Myles Borne vs. Hank Walker & Tank Ledger vs. Stacks Lorenzo & Luca Crusifino vs. Bronco Nima & Lucien Price, and NXT Heritage Cup Champion Charlie Dempsey defending against Lexis King.
