Braun Strowman had a special moment following the dark match at Friday’s WWE SmackDown by honoring the late Bray Wyatt and Brodie Lee, aka Luke Harperm(see video below).
Strowman became the fourth member of The Wyatt Family, led by Wyatt, and featured Lee and Erick Rowan in WWE. Lee passed away at the age of 41 due to a non-COVID-related lung issue on December 26, 2020. Wyatt died of a heart attack in August 2023.
After a second dark match of Jey Uso battling Chad Gable, The New Bloodline attacked Jey, leading to Sami Zayn and Strowman coming out to make the save. Strowman grabbed the mic and noted that he’s faced tough times in recent years, including losing close friends.
Uso noted that Bray Wyatt’s widow JoJo and their children were in attendance. They brought some of Wyatt and Lee’s kids into the ring to celebrate.
