Julia Hart returned to in-ring action on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite after previously returning to TV on the December 14th episode of Collision when she attacked Jamie Hayter.
Hart had been a key part of the AEW women’s division before being sidelined. She had been off AEW television since April when she lost the AEW TBS Championship to Willow Nightingale at AEW Dynasty before getting surgery.
In November, the word made the rounds that Hart was expected back fairly soon. AEW began producing videos to build up to her return from injury. Hart went over the former AEW Women’s Champion in a singles match on this week’s Dynamite.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported, “Julia Hart working with Jamie Hayter and beating her has been planned for months, and we’re told Hayter was eager to work with Julia.” Whether AEW plans to extend the feud or if this was the blowoff match is unclear.
