WWE Stars Expected To Cross Over More Between Raw And SmackDown

Fans can expect to see more talent cross over to other brands as WWE kicks off the new year. WWE is advertising top SmackDown stars for Monday’s Raw on Netflix premiere episodes, including Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa, and Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes.

On Friday’s SmackDown, Raw’s Drew McIntyre did an opening segment with Rhodes before Kevin Owens laid out Rhodes. This comes at a time when WWE is doing its transfer window, where talent can move to other shows.

Fightful Select reports there were “other WWE Raw talent at the show, and there are expected to be current WWE Raw talent at the show moving forward.” Per the report, both brands will have talent from the other brand for a while, with some making a more permanent switch to another brand.

WWE also plans to have fewer dark matches at SmackDown events because of the addition of the third hour.
