Hulk Hogan May Not Appear Live On WWE TV As Often After Raw Backlash

Hulk Hogan has gone viral following his appearance on Monday’s WWE Raw on Netflix premiere, as the fans in attendance heavily booed him. Fans on social media also took shots at Hogan for the appearance.

Even WWE Raw color commentator Pat McAfee poked fun at Hogan with a staged press conference and one of his co-hosts dressing up like Hogan. Hogan was on Raw to hype the show and promote his Real American Beer, which is one of WWE’s new sponsors.

Fightful Select reported before the appearance that Hogan had been discussed for some upcoming appearances with the company. He was featured in an advertisement for WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event later this month during last week’s SmackDown.

On a recent edition of SportsKeeda’s Backstage Pass Q&A, WrestleVotes shared his take that fans may not see him as often on television. WrestleVotes added that WWE makes big numbers for Hogan’s merchandise.

“I think they may do a lot of documentary interviews with him going forward. I think they may have him on commercials. His numbers do incredibly well on WWE Shop, so they’re going to keep him around. But I think as far as live appearances, you may not see him as often.”
