AEW revealed during this week’s Dynamite that Grand Slam: Australia would be airing at 8 PM Eastern on TNT and Max on February 15th. There was an issue as TNT has “All Star Saturday Night” airing at the same time, as All Star Weekend is one of the biggest nights on the calendar for the league and TV Network.
This confused fans when the graphic, as seen below, was shown after Toni Storm earned the right to challenge Mariah May for the Women’s Title at Grand Slam.
Hopefully, AEW will issue a statement on this schedule conflict.

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that AEW has come up with a new plan. It will air the show after the NBA coverage.
Meltzer wrote, “Right now, the plan is for the Grand Slam show to air on TNT after the NBA coverage, which in theory would give it a gigantic lead-in but would be airing very late. The show itself would start at around 2:30 a.m. Eastern time late Friday night, so it would be like a 21 hour or so tape delay.”
As of now, it’s unclear whether MAX will air the show live or just simulcast it with TNT. WWE NXT is doing its Vengeance Day show on this date, which will go head-to-head with the NBA program.
