WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event Results: Rhea Ripley Retains Women’s World Title In Opener

Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley vs. Nia Jax took place at the WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event in San Antonio, Texas, at the Frost Bank Center.

Jax took a cheap shot to Ripley during ring introductions. Ripley caught her with a counter DDT.  Rhea with a dive off the apron to the floor. Nia took over with a headbutt then a splash in the corner. Jax with a samoan drop off the middle rope for 2. We’re back from break with Jax hitting a leg drop off the middle rope for 2. Jax went back to the middle rope and Rhea hit a powerbomb. Rhea knocked her to the floor before going back to the top rope and hitting a crossbody. Jax countered the riptide by falling on her. Jax splashed off the middle rope and then went for another one, but Rhea picked her up from behind and hit an electric chair. Rhea with the riptide for the win.
