Absent WWE Star Is Being Brought In For Royal Rumble

WWE is bringing in a star who hasn’t been used on television in months.

That star is Omos. PWInsider.com and Fightful Select report the company is bringing Omos in this weekend. It’s unclear whether he will be in the Men’s Royal Rumble bout.

Fightful noted that his name had been discussed for the bout. It was added that Omos impressed those in WWE with his run in NOAH and his willingness to go to Japan. While in NOAH, he worked a handful of Tag Team Title bouts.

After taking over Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 39 in 2023, he has wrestled semi-regularly on live events. Under Vince McMahon, he was regularly used on television, where he was paired with MVP as his manager. Omos’ last match was on the April 5th episode of SmackDown, where he worked the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

This is just a snippet of the story. For complete details, please visit Fightful Select at Patreon.com/Fightful.
