WWE’s Brand Plans For Alexa Bliss Following Royal Rumble return

Alexa Bliss made her grand return to WWE at the Royal Rumble by competing in the Women’s Royal Rumble bout.

PWInsider.com reports that Bliss snuck into the building around 3 PM local time. Bliss was in Florida and flew to Indianapolis on the day of the show. No one knew Bliss would be in the bout until word began to spread closer to bell time, as she was first hidden from everyone.

The company had Bliss merchandise ready for the return, and it was already designed and ready to go for the night of the San Jose Raw. They were told Bliss would be on the Raw brand going forward.

Fightful reports that Shotzi was originally planned for the Royal Rumble before Bliss stepped in. They were told Shotzi was just getting reps to prepare for a main roster return. Those they spoke with said that they didn’t hold anything against Bliss and were happy to see her back. However, some people felt bad for Shotzi.
