Kevin Owens got fans talking when he implied in a post on his Twitter account that he had re-signed with WWE.
Owens posted on X today, “If you guys help support my daughter’s Girl Scout troop by buying some cookies, I promise to keep wrestling for at least 4 years, 11 months, and 22 days more.”
This comes days after he lost to Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes in a ladder match at the Royal Rumble. At Bash in Berlin, Rhodes retained the title against Owens before WWE went back to the program at Saturday Night’s Main Event in December, and Rhodes went over.
The belief was Owens’ deal was up in late 2024 or early 2025. Fightful Select reports that Owens has signed a new deal. Those close to the situation confirm the new deal started on the day of the Royal Rumble. It’s a five-year deal.
