Isla Dawn Released By WWE

Isla Dawn has joined the list of talent who have been released by WWE. On Friday, WWE released several superstars, including Cedric Alexander, AOP (Rezar and Akam), their manager Paul Ellering, and Blair Davenport. Sonya Deville was informed that WWE wouldn’t be renewing her deal, which expires later this month.

Because she was let go, she has a 90-day non-compete clause to wait out. Dawn announced the news on social media, as seen below:

Dawn started her WWE journey in NXT UK, where she quickly made a name for herself. She had notable feuds with top stars like Meiko Satomura and Kay Lee Ray before going to NXT in 2022, where she formed a tag team with Alba Fyre, known as “The Unholy Union.”

Together, they captured the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships. Dawn and Fyre were drafted to SmackDown in the 2023 WWE Draft. At Clash at the Castle 2024 in Scotland, they won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship before losing them later that year and were quietly disbanded.
