AEW Is Keeping Their PPV Schedule A Top Secret

AEW has yet to hold a pay-per-view event this year and has kept its schedule quiet outside of four events.

They will hold Revelation on March 9th in LA and the Dynasty event from Philadelphia on April 6th. They have All In on July 12th from Arlington, TX, and the Forbidden Door show from England on August 24.

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that the promotion’s PPV schedule is top secret to avoid WWE booking a show on the same night as their PPV events in advance, as they did with a house show in Orlando, FL, this past December to compete with AEW Worlds End.

Meltzer wrote, “One of the reasons AEW PPV dates aren’t being announced well in advance is because of WWE countering Worlds End and All In Texas, as well as other shows. The stuff is being kept top secret and even those internally don’t know of dates and stuff after April.”
