WWE Vengeance Day Results: Oba Femi Keeps NXT Title, Attacked By New Faction

WWE NXT Champion Oba Femi vs. Grayson Waller vs. Austin Theory was booked at this year’s WWE Vengeance Day Premium Live Event. The following is the play-by-play coverage of the match:

Waller and Theory ambushed Femi to begin the match. Femi quickly retaliated with a double suplex. Waller and Theory then clotheslined Femi to the outside. Femi retaliated by throwing steel steps at the pair. Waller then tripped Femi, sending him crashing onto the steps. Waller then used a chair on Femi inside the ring. Femi set up a table, but the heels regained control and Waller drove Femi through it with a dive off the middle rope. Back in the ring, Theory covered Femi for a near fall. Femi managed to hit a spinebuster on Theory, but Theory responded with a chair shot to the back followed by a DDT. Theory then delivered his finisher, but Waller pulled the referee out of the ring to break up the pin. Waller then accidentally stunned Theory with a Stunner. Femi capitalized, hitting his finisher on Waller for the win.

Winner: Femi

Post-match, the masked man came out yet again and attacked Femi.
