GUNTHER has been on a strong run since becoming the WWE World Heavyweight Champion when he beat Damian Priest in a top match at this year’s SummerSlam. Now, he has reached another milestone.
GUNTHER entered into a feud with Randy Orton after winning the title, where he went over at Bash in Berlin. His next title defense was over Sami Zayn on the October 7th episode of WWE Raw. He did lose in a tag team match where he and Ludwig Kaiser lost to Orton and Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes. He followed that up with a loss to Rhodes for the Crown Jewel Title at the Crown Jewel Title.
Since then, he has retained the title over Priest at Survivor Series and then Jey Uso at Saturday Night’s Main Event in January. He will run it back with Uso at WrestleMania 41.
On Wednesday, GUNTHER reached the milestone of being World Heavyweight Champion for 200 days.
