A lot of speculation has been made about The Rock appearing on tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans.
The Rock shared an update about his intentions by writing in the comments of his Instagram post, “The Final Boss is coming to handle business, deliver a big beautiful gift to the city of New Orleans, and fuck up a certain someone’s life with the Final Boss gospel. #smackdown.”
As previously noted, The Rock is not currently scheduled to wrestle at WrestleMania 41. However, the situation remains fluid, as The Rock ultimately decides his involvement, and a match could still happen if he feels like he’s in a ring shape.
WrestleVotes noted that The Rock is expected to announce the WrestleMania 42 location. WrestleVotes previously reported that the company plans to hold WrestleMania 42 at the Superdome in New Orleans next year.
