WWE has reportedly made changes to tonight’s SmackDown card following the news of The Rock appearing on the show.
Previously announced for the show before Rock announced he would be there included Drew McIntyre vs. Jimmy Uso and WWE Tag Team Champions DIY (Tommaso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano) defending against Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince & Kit Wilson). WWE has also confirmed Cody Rhodes, Damian Priest & Braun Strowman vs. Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu & Tama Tonga for the show.
WrestleVotes reported today that Rock’s appearance has caused big changes to the show. Naomi vs. Liv Morgan and the six-man tag team match will no longer take place as originally planned.
WrestleVotes previously reported that The Rock is expected to announce the WrestleMania 42 location on SmackDown. The company plans to hold WrestleMania 42 at the Superdome in New Orleans next year.
