The Rock has further commented on his appearance on Friday’s WWE SmackDown and his next appearance with the company.
The segment saw The Rock deliver a promo, stating his desire to elevate Cody Rhodes and transform him into the Undisputed WWE Champion. He declared his intention to take a piece of Rhodes’ soul but would wait to get the answer until the Elimination Chamber on March 1st.
Following the show, The Rock spoke at the press conference to discuss his segment, noting that it doesn’t need to end in a match. Fans’ overall impression is that the angle didn’t make a lot of sense.
