WWE will be without one of its top stars from NXT in the near future.
WWE previously confirmed that a Giulia vs. Stephanie Vaquer double title match will take place at NXT Roadblock on March 11. This is a special edition of the weekly NXT program.
The NXT Women’s Championship and Women’s North American Championship will be on the line. The winner will take both titles.
While speaking on Wrestling Observer Live today, Bryan Alvarez stated that this match was booked because one of the competitors was banged up. It’s believed the star will be taking time off after Roadblock.
PWInsider.com reports that Giulia is dealing with an injury. It’s unclear what the exact injury is or how long she will be out of action.
