Homicide Reveals He’s Retiring After Doctors Found A Cyst On His Brain

Homicide has addressed the reason for his retirement.

Tonight, the former TNA star will compete in his final match. He’ll do so by teaming with Bull James to take on the duo of Afa Jr. and Mike Santana at Outlaw Wrestling’s End Of An Era show in Brooklyn, New York.

Homicide announced his retirement via an emotional Facebook post, revealing that doctors had discovered a brain cyst. He explained that the cyst had been present for several months and that he was experiencing worsening vision and speech.

Homicide’s career, spanning nearly 32 years, saw him compete for almost every major wrestling promotion except WWE. Throughout his time in professional wrestling, Homicide put together an impressive list of championships, including the TNA World Tag Team Championship, ROH World Tag Team Championship, ROH World Championship, TNA X-Division Championship, NWA World Tag Team Championship, NWA Junior Heavyweight Championship, and PWG Tag Team Championship.
