Tony Khan announced a new segment featuring Swerve Strickland early Wednesday morning for tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
“Ahead of their upcoming AEW World Title Match at #AEWDynasty, the #1 contender @swerveconfident will call out the AEW World Champion @JonMoxley live on Wednesday Night Dynamite TONIGHT!,” he wrote.
Strickland’s rivalry with Jon Moxley ignited at AEW Revolution, escalating on Collision with Moxley’s crowbar attack, and continued on Dynamite where Moxley retained his title against Adam Copeland in a street fight.
AEW Dynamite will also feature Kenny Omega facing Blake Christian, Kyle Fletcher battling Brody King, Mark Briscoe taking on Konosuke Takeshita, Powerhouse Hobbs clashing with Mark Davis, Toni Storm and Thunder Rosa facing Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford, an FTR sit-down interview, and MJF’s response to MVP’s offer to join The Hurt Syndicate.
