Mandy Rose has called out WWE for trying to erase her from history while touting Stephanie Vaquer’s achievement of a historic milestone at NXT Roadblock earlier this month.
She did so when she defeated Giulia to capture the NXT Women’s Championship. This victory elevated her status to a double champion, as she was already the reigning NXT Women’s North American Champion.
WWE has since highlighted Vaquer’s accomplishment, proclaiming her the first woman to hold two championships within NXT simultaneously. That is not the case. Mandy did it first in 2022.
Rose held both the NXT Women’s Championship and the NXT UK Women’s Championship concurrently. In response to a fan’s comment on social media, Rose expressed her frustration, labeling the situation “pathetic.”
The match was presented as a unification, merging the UK title into the US version of the NXT Women’s Championship. Despite this unification, Rose continued to carry both championship belts and fit the criteria as a double champion.
Haha yea it’s pretty pathetic isn’t it!! Thanks for the recognition tho! Appreciate you!!🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 https://t.co/VBFfJ99q1V
