Earlier this week, Mandy Rose called out WWE for trying to erase her from history while touting Stephanie Vaquer’s achievement of a historic milestone at NXT Roadblock earlier this month.
Vaquer’s recent NXT Women’s Championship victory over Giulia, which made her a double champion alongside her existing NXT Women’s North American title, has been celebrated by WWE as a historic first. However, this claim has been met with controversy, as Rose previously held both the NXT Women’s Championship and the NXT UK Women’s Championship simultaneously in 2022. In response to a fan’s comment regarding WWE’s assertion,
Rose expressed her frustration and labeled the situation “pathetic,” highlighting the discrepancy in the company’s narrative. In December 2022, WWE released Rose due to the adult content she posted on her FanTime page, as the company became uncomfortable with it.
Rose appeared on Busted Open Radio and was asked about a potential WWE return for a one-off Royal Rumble appearance.
“I don’t know if they would accept me back. I don’t know how they feel. I’ve never had a conversation. Are they really offended with what happened? I don’t know. Maybe they just don’t want to be associated with me anymore, in a sense, because I feel like I’m a little bit erased in certain scenarios. NXT did mention me not too long ago. It was a promo package and they were talking about the women in general evolving, which was cool. That gave me a little glimmer of hope, ‘Oh, I got a little recognition there.’ I feel like I am a little erased from their rolodex of superstars. I could be wrong.”
