Chris Jericho has been with AEW since it started in 2019, helping launch the promotion as the inaugural World Heavyweight Champion. He is in the second run as ROH World Champion with his next title defense tonight against Bandido at Dynasty.
Jericho was asked about a potential WWE return while speaking at a recent Horror Rock and Wrestle Fest event. Jericho gave a fair statement that he would consider both options.
Jericho stated, “I would have considered a return to WWE before things changed. Once again, there are two teams you can play on, which is amazing, and it’s one of the reasons why I wanted to take a chance and go to AEW in the first place. It was a real gamble… Of course, I would consider going back there [WWE]. I would also consider not going back there too. It just depends on what the situation is and what’s going on with me at the time.”
