PWInsider.com reports that WWE broadcast personality Cathy Kelley has been training recently at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, FL. According to the report, Kelley has been secretly involved in in-ring training and promo classes for some time.
The reported intention behind her training is to potentially utilize her in a manager-type role if WWE chooses to pursue that direction. Kelley was with WWE from 2019 before departing the following year.
However, Kelley returned to the company in 2022 and has remained since. This situation echoes past comments from Samantha Irvin, who noted that one of her reasons for leaving WWE previously was a desire to take on a more character-driven role beyond ring announcing.
Kelley has not yet publicly commented on her reported training.
