WATCH: Fan Threw Bottle At John Cena During WWE SmackDown

A fan was ejected from last night’s WWE SmackDown in Dayton, Ohio, after throwing a beer bottle at Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena during his show-closing promo segment. While Cena acknowledged the disruption and even referenced the incident in his promo, he visibly did not look pleased.

The individual who threw the projectile was swiftly identified and escorted out of the arena by security personnel, accompanied by loud boos from the surrounding audience. This incident serves as a stark reminder that fans are not part of the performance and should never throw objects at wrestlers or attempt to make physical contact.

Despite the interruption, Cena continued his promo, addressing both the WWE Universe and his Backlash opponent, Randy Orton. The segment then took a dramatic turn when a hooded figure attacked Cena, attempting an RKO, which Cena reversed into an Attitude Adjustment.

However, the attacker was revealed not to be Orton. “The Viper” himself then appeared, hitting the unsuspecting Cena with an RKO to stand tall as SmackDown went off the air. It is currently unknown if any legal charges have been filed against the fan involved in the bottle-throwing incident.
