The next installment in the popular wrestling video game franchise, WWE 2K26, has been officially confirmed. The news emerged today, Friday, May 16, during Take-Two Interactive’s quarterly earnings call.

As part of their financial disclosures and future outlook, Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of 2K Sports, provided an updated game release schedule. Nestled within this forecast was the highly anticipated, and many would say inevitable, reveal: WWE 2K26 is actively in development.

While specific details about new features, roster additions, or gameplay enhancements are yet to be announced – typical for a title this far out – the schedule did confirm that WWE 2K26 is currently targeting a release window in the calendar year 2026.
