WWE Reportedly Close To Signing Several Wrestlers

More details are coming out about WWE’s efforts to sign new international talent following its UK Tryouts held earlier this year. After initial reports highlighted WWE’s strong interest in Spanish wrestler Zozaya, two more European stars, Aigle Blanc from France and Mike D. Vecchio from Italy (though also known for his work in Belgium and Germany), are now also reportedly on the verge of signing with the company.

Cultaholic first reported on May 20, 2025, that Aigle Blanc and Mike D. Vecchio were likely heading to WWE. Fightful Select has since confirmed this information, stating that both talents are indeed close to signing deals.

Fightful also provided an update on Zozaya, noting he is now expected to officially sign his WWE contract in September. This lines up with previous information suggesting that new talents from these European tryouts are generally planned to start with WWE around September 2025, likely beginning in the NXT system.

Sources have indicated that WWE’s James Amner is believed to be the one handling the contract negotiations for this group of European wrestlers. In addition to Zozaya, Blanc, and Vecchio, reports suggest at least one more unnamed talent from the tryouts is also expected to sign with WWE. As of now, however, there has been no specific word on any UK-based wrestlers being part of this immediate group of signees.

For those asking about another tryout participant, Goldenboy Santos, it’s understood that while WWE remains interested in him, he is currently dealing with an injury. Due to this, he is not expected to sign with the company at this moment.
