Report: WWE SmackDown’s Run As 3-Hour Program Might Extend Into June

New information suggests WWE Friday Night SmackDown might continue as a three-hour show on the USA Network into the first part of June 2025.

This is interesting because the original plan, when SmackDown moved to USA Network and expanded its length earlier this year, was reportedly for the show to return to its traditional two-hour format by June 6th.

A report from PWInsider.com indicates that internal listings at the USA Network still have SmackDown scheduled for the extended three-hour runtime during those early June weeks.

While these internal listings could be outdated, they raise the possibility that WWE and USA Network are considering keeping SmackDown at three hours longer. WWE fans have had mixed reactions to the three-hour format since the switch.
