WWE Seemingly Spoils An Upcoming Title Match

WWE may have inadvertently revealed the future of the AAA Mega Championship, as current promotional material for the upcoming WWE x AAA Worlds Collide event lists the title as being on the line when El Hijo Del Vikingo faces Chad Gable.

The issue, as of this writing, is that neither Vikingo nor Gable currently holds the AAA Mega Championship. The reigning champion is Alberto El Patron, who is scheduled to defend the title against El Hijo Del Vikingo on May 31st, just days before the Worlds Collide show on June 7th.

This has led to speculation that Vikingo is set to win the championship from El Patron. While Del Rio is not currently slated for Worlds Collide, the report emphasized that El Hijo Del Vikingo “is planned as a huge part of the partnership moving forward.”
