Released WWE Star Could Be TNA-Bound

Free agent Cedric Alexander has interest from TNA wrestling, with some believing people in TNA that he could be starting with the company soon.

A PWInsider.com report states, “There’s been a lot of talk about TNA interest in former WWE star Cedric Alexander.” WWE released Alexander in February 2025 and became a free agent after his 90-day non-compete clause expired.

He is a former WWE Cruiserweight Champion and United States Champion, known for his incredible in-ring athleticism. While PWInsider noted, “We haven’t been able to 100% lock down that he’s coming in,” they added, “but where there’s smoke, sometimes there is indeed fire.”

Alexander’s exciting style would be a great fit for the current TNA roster, particularly its X-Division.
