WWE x AAA Worlds Collide Results: El Hijo del Vikingo Keeps AAA Mega Title In Strong Headliner

AAA Mega Champion El Hijo del Vikingo vs. Chad Gable took place at the WWE x AAA Worlds Collide Premium Live Event from the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California.

There was a lot of mat work early on. Vikingo worked on Gable’s arm with countless submission attempts. Gable missed a move and ate the ring post with his shoulder. El with a hurricarona then a running knee strike to send Gable to the floor. El with a wild outside dive to the floor. El went for a running shooting star press off the arpron, but Chad put his knees up. Gable took over and got on the offense. El Hijo del Vikingo caught him with a code breaker as Gable went for a dive. El with a double foot stomp off the top rope for 2. El with a twisting 450 splash for 2. Gable with an inside-out piledriver off the top rope for 2. Vikingo with a leaping panama sunrise to Chad on the apron. Vikingo tossed him back in and Gable kicked out at 2. Vikingo went to the top rope, but Gable pushed him off. Chad with a moonsault off the top rope through a table on the floor. Vikingo reversed a german suplex before selling his ankle. Vikingo with a poisonronna to Chad off the top rope then a running knee strike. Vikingo with the 630 splash for the win.
