WWE Heightens Security For Roxanne Perez After Online Threats

WWE implemented heightened security measures for Roxanne Perez during the Money in the Bank weekend in Santa Monica following serious online threats.

According to Fightful Select, the precautions were taken after a disturbing account on X, formerly known as Twitter, posted what was allegedly Perez’s home address along with a threatening countdown. The account, named “Is Roxanne Perez D3ad yet?”, also posted chilling messages about the former NXT Women’s Champion.

WWE executive Adam Pearce alluded to the threat on social media, confirming it had been reported to the appropriate authorities. Despite the situation, Perez participated in her scheduled meet-and-greet and competed in the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match.

This incident is another example in a concerning trend of wrestlers, including Sonya Deville in 2020, dealing with stalkers, prompting WWE to be very protective of its talent.
