Booker T: WWE Evolution 2 “Might Have To Be A Two-Night Event”

Booker T shared his excitement for the upcoming all-women’s premium live event, Evolution 2, stating that the WWE women’s roster is so talented that the show may need to be expanded.

“It might have to be a two-night event because we got that much talent, the roster’s stacked. I mean, it’s got to be at least 20 matches,” Booker T said. “I’m loving it, you know. I mean, like you said, we’ve been asking for this for a long time. I think the ladies deserve this.”

WWE holds Great American Bash on the afternoon of July 12th before presenting Saturday Night’s Main Event that night. Booker T elaborated on the strength of the division and its ability to draw right now.

“I don’t think it’s taken away from the shine from the guys to let the ladies go out there and have that one night only,” he stated. “I think it’s only fitting for the talent that we have on that roster, just to show how big the women’s division really is, from a star power perspective, as far as you know, how they could go out there and draw the house just like everybody else… It’s not a contest between Raw and SmackDown, it’s a contest between the men and women.”
