Absent AEW Star Spotted Backstage Ahead Of All In

With AEW’s biggest show of the year, All In Texas, just one day away, there is speculation that an absent star could be making his return. According to a new report, former TNT Champion Jack Perry has been backstage at recent AEW television tapings.

Jack Perry Backstage At AEW Tapings

A report from WrestleVotes has indicated that Perry has been present backstage at recent AEW events, leading to talk of a potential on-screen return. Perry has not appeared on weekly AEW television since the November 11, 2024, edition of Collision. His last official match was at the Wrestle Dynasty event in January, where he challenged for the IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship.

A Potential Return To The Elite?

Prior to his hiatus, Perry was aligned with The Young Bucks as a member of The Elite and was instrumental in their heel turn, including the on-screen attack of AEW President Tony Khan in April. A logical return spot for Perry would be during The Young Bucks’ match at All In, where they are scheduled to face the team of Swerve Strickland and Will Ospreay.

The stakes for that match are incredibly high. Per the official stipulation, if The Young Bucks win, both Swerve Strickland and Will Ospreay will be barred from challenging for the AEW World Championship for one full year, making any potential interference from Perry a pivotal moment.
