“Timeless” Toni Storm TRASHES Mercedes Moné Before AEW All In

As she prepares for one of the biggest matches of her career, AEW Women’s World Champion “Timeless” Toni Storm sat down with Emily Mae of WrestlingNews.co for a wide-ranging interview. In her signature, old-Hollywood style, Storm discussed her upcoming opponent at All In, Mercedes Moné, her unique preparation, and the secret behind her captivating performances.

On Her All In Opponent, Mercedes Moné

Storm did not hold back when asked for her thoughts on her opponent for this Saturday’s All In pay-per-view, whom she referred to as a “rude cow.” “She pushed me to the point… I was happy to be very civilized from the get, but she’s just been a bit of a rude cow, hasn’t she?” Storm stated. “So, you know, had to deal with her. Had to put her in her place. And I’ll be finishing the job tomorrow.”

When asked to name the most “tasteless” thing in modern wrestling, Storm’s answer was immediate and direct. “Mercedes Moné,” she said. “Oh, all her taste is in her bloody mouth. I tell you that. Oh yeah, she’s, it’s been horrible to deal with. She’s a tasteless act. And tomorrow I’ll be putting a stop to that. She’ll be exiled like the rest of them. She’s going down.”

On Being “Timeless”

Storm also gave some insight into her unique, “timeless” persona and her glamorous presentation. When asked how she prepares for such a big week, she explained her process. “What they do is when I’m in my deepest REM sleep, very important, I have my team into my hotel room, and they get me prepared before I’m even awake,” she said. “And then I just wake up, and I just pop on my little shoes, and I just skip on out.”

When asked for three tips on how to be “timeless,” Storm’s advice was simple. “Well, I suppose you’ll have to be a world-renowned athlete… have some kind of unbelievably incredible ambiance,” she began. She also noted her clairvoyant abilities as a key part of her character.

On Her Butler, Luther

The champion also offered a brief, and dismissive, assessment of her butler, Luther. When asked about his most important qualities, Storm struggled to find any. “Oh, God. I mean, I don’t know. I mean, look at Luther. I mean, he is what he is, but he does a good job, I suppose,” she said, before adding that she has a long list of areas where he could improve. “I keep him around so I can slap that bald head of his. I mean, it’s like his only positive trait, really.”

“Timeless” Toni Storm is set to defend her AEW Women’s World Championship against “The CEO” Mercedes Moné in a highly anticipated main event match at AEW All In: Texas. The event takes place tomorrow, Saturday, July 12, at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. Click here for details on how to order the show.
