The show starts with LA Knight making his way to the ring. Knight said he will kick Rollins’ ass at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Paul Heyman came out and said Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed are the future and he doesn’t see any future for LA Knight. This brought out Solo Sikoa, JC Mateo, Talla Tonga and Tanga Loa. Solo told Heyman everything changed when he left his family. There is no more Bloodline, no more Tribal Chief, and no more Wise Man. He suggested Heyman leave now before his crew put his ass through the table again like they did in MSG. Heyman waved goodbye and left.
Solo told Knight he can also leave or he’ll make sure he never walks again. Solo’s group got on the ring apron. Jimmy Uso came in with a chair and hit Mateo in the back forcing Solo’s group to back off.
Nick Aldis came out and scheduled a tag team match with Jimmy Uso and LA Knight against Solo Sikoa and KC Mateo tonight.
Backstage:
Alexa Bliss told Charlotte Flair she wants her at ringside for her match tonight. Charlotte said we’re not friends. Bliss said everybody else has their partners out there tonight, and if she wants to make a statement going into Evolution, that’s the way to do it. Upon hearing that, Charlotte said okay.
Alexa Bliss (w/Charlotte Flair) vs Roxanne Perez (w/Raquel Rodriguez) vs Kairi Sane (w/Asuka) vs Sol Ruka (w/Zaria)
Perez blocked Sister Abigail from Bliss. Ruca hit Bliss and Perez with the Sol Snatcher on Bliss and Perez. Ruka went for the cover on Roxanne, but Raquel put Roxanne’s foot on the rope. Zaria hit Raquel with a forearm but Raquel picked her up and dropped her face first on the announce desk. Charlotte came over and threw Raquel over the announce desk. Sane knocked Ruka out of the ring. As Sane attempted to hit the Insane Elbow on Bliss, Bliss got her knees up and hit her with Sister Abigail on her for the pin.
Winner: Alexa Bliss
WWE Tag Team Championship Match: The Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) (champions) vs The Wyatt Sicks (Dexter Lumis & Joe Gacy) (w/Erik Rowan, Uncle Howdy and Nikki Cross)
Ford hit Lumis with the big splash of the top rope. With the referee distracted, Rowan pulled Ford out of the ring. Dawkins sent Rowan over the barricade by hitting him with the Pounce. Ford again attempted a splash off the top rope on Lumis but missed. Gacy tagged in and hit a combined suplex/powerbomb on Ford and pinned him.
Winners and new WWE Tag Team Champions: The Wyatt Six
Backstage:Â
The teams in the SmackDown division argued amongst themselves and talked about The Wyatt Six becoming the new champions. Andrade announced that he and Rey Fenix are now officially part of the tag team division based on their recent success.
Jelly Roll/Randy Orton – Logan Paul/Drew McIntyre angle
Jelly Roll was performing a song when Logan Paul interrupted him. Logan said he is tired of outsiders coming into our industry leaching off our success that we built. Randy Orton came out and told Logan that if anybody is an outsider, it’s Logan. As Orton continued to yell at Logan, Drew McIntyre snuck up from behind and gave Orton a Claymore. Orton attacked Orton while he was down, but Jelly Roll grabbed Logan and threw him to the ground. Logan left the ring, walked up the aisle, and destroyed the band’s musical instruments.
Backstage:
After the commercial break, Jelly Roll asked Randy Orton if he could come down and watch his back tomorrow at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Orton said he would be honored to have him in his corner.
R-Truth vs Aleister Black
Truth brought a chair into the ring. Black gave Truth a knee to the face and picked up the chair. As the ref pulled the chair from Black’s hands, Truth rolled him up and pinned him.
Winner: R-Truth
Backstage:
Black was upset and looking for Truth. Damian Priest stopped him and said he knows he’s upset, but he’s got to let it go. They shook hands, but then Black kneed him in the face and kicked him in the head. Black said now I can let it go.
Tiffany Stratton – Trish StratusÂ
Stratton said she picked Trish as her opponent for Evolution because she already beat Charlotte, Nia Jax, and Bayley, so why wouldn’t she want to fight one of the greatest of all time in Trish Stratus. If she beats her, then she can be considered one of the GOATS. Trish said I feel the pressure, but Tiffany needs to beat me to be considered the greatest of all time, something I already am.
Naomi came out holding up the Money in the Bank briefcase. Before she could complete a sentence, Jade Cargill came out and attacked her. They brawled until officials came out to separate them.
LA Knight & Jimmy Uso vs Solo Sikoa & JC Mateo (w/Talla Tanga & Tonga Loa)
Knight noticed Paul Heyman outside the ring. Knight turned around and got met by a boot to the face from Talla Tanga. As this was going on, Jimmy rolled up a distracted Solo inside the ring to score the pinfall. Mateo, Talla and Tanga chased Jimmy through the crowd. Solo pointed at Heyman and yelled at him for costing him the match. Knight turned Solo around and gave him the BFT. As Knight then began yelling at Heyman, Bron Breakker got in the ring and speared Knight when he turned around. Bronson Reed appeared out of nowhere and gave Knight a Tsunami to end the show.
Winners: LA Knight & Jimmy Uso
