The rivalry between Randy Orton and Drew McIntyre took a chaotic turn at tonight’s WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event in Atlanta, Georgia. The match, which featured celebrity guests Logan Paul and Jelly Roll at ringside, ended with a shocking post-match assault on the Grammy-winning music star.
Celebrity Interference Decides Orton vs. McIntyre
Following up on their confrontation from this past week’s SmackDown, Jelly Roll was in Randy Orton’s corner, while United States Champion Logan Paul accompanied Drew McIntyre. The presence of the two guests proved to be the deciding factor in the match.
Toward the conclusion of the bout, Paul and Jelly Roll got into a shoving match on the outside, which distracted McIntyre. As McIntyre turned his attention to Jelly Roll, Orton struck with an RKO to secure the victory. After the match, as Orton and Jelly Roll celebrated, Logan Paul hit Orton with a cheap shot. Jelly Roll immediately came to Orton’s defense, throwing Paul to the ground and landing a right hand that sent the U.S. Champion retreating.
However, as Jelly Roll stood tall, a furious Drew McIntyre blindsided him with a Claymore Kick, leaving the musical artist laid out in the ring.
