WWE Evolution Results: Naomi Cashes In MITB, Wins Women’s World Title

Women’s World Champion IYO SKY vs. Rhea Ripley took place at the WWE Evolution Premium Live Event from the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, GA. 

They both played mind games in the early going. SKY tossed her to the floor before going for a dive only to eat a forearm shot. They went back and forth with Ripley getting near falls before Rhea became frustrated. SKY avoided a power slam and hit a series of kicks to the gut then a german suplex. SKY with an outside dive to take out Rhea. SKY with a drop kick off the top rope. SKY avoided a german suplex off the top rope, but Ripley avoided a splash. SKY pulled Ripley off the middle rope and landed hard on the turnbuckle. SKY with a poisonroana for 2. Ripley with a powerbomb for 2. Ripley ducked and SKY accidentally drop kicked the referee. Ripley with the riptide but there was no referee. They brawled into the crowd. SKY got into some production equipment for a dive onto Rhea. Back near the ring, SKY with a powerbomb to Ripley on the floor. SKY with the moonsault for 2. SKY with the spanish fly off the top rope. Naomi runs out with the Money in the Bank briefcase and cashes in. She hit SKY with the briefcase and tossed Rhea into the ring post. Naomi with the moonsault to pin SKY to win the title. 

Winner: Naomi
