WWE Star Returns From Hiatus

Former NXT star Brooks Jensen made his surprise return to WWE television on the July 16th episode of WWE EVOLVE. Jensen made an immediate and aggressive statement by attacking the brand’s champion.

Brooks Jensen Attacks EVOLVE Champion Jackson Drake

In the main event of the show, Jackson Drake successfully defended the WWE EVOLVE Championship against Lince Dorado. As Drake celebrated, Jensen hit the ring and attacked the champion from behind, taking him out with a powerful lariat. Jensen briefly held the EVOLVE title before tossing it down at the fallen champion.

A New Attitude After Culling Exile

This was Jensen’s first appearance on WWE programming since the June 3rd episode of WWE NXT. On that show, he was violently kicked out of The Culling faction by Izzi Dame after being told he never fully committed to the group. The vicious attack on the EVOLVE Champion shows a new, more aggressive attitude for Jensen following his exile from the group.

Jensen’s arrival on WWE EVOLVE adds another intriguing element to the brand, which has become a unique proving ground for talent from all over WWE. In recent weeks, the show has featured appearances from main roster stars like Natalya and NXT talent like Nikkita Lyons, blending established veterans with up-and-coming prospects.
