A new report has shed light on WWE’s long-term vision for its main event scene, identifying three key superstars who are reportedly being groomed to become the next top-tier headliners for the company.
In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that alongside current top stars, “the idea right now is to groom Ripley, Fatu and Breakker to be the people to be with them and eventually in those spots.” According to the report, Rhea Ripley is viewed as the “obvious long-term face of the women’s division going forward.”
Rhea Ripley is set to compete for the Women’s World Championship in a triple threat match at SummerSlam. On SmackDown, Jacob Fatu has been positioned as a top babyface in a high-profile feud with The Bloodline.
Meanwhile, on Raw, Bron Breakker is a key member of Paul Heyman’s faction and is now involved in the main event storyline with the recently returned Roman Reigns.
