WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella got candid about her current dating life and what she’s looking for in a partner during a recent appearance on What Do You Wanna Talk About? with Cody Rhodes. The conversation revealed that the recently single star is on the exclusive, celebrity dating app, Raya, but that she isn’t looking for anything serious at the moment as her son remains her top priority.
The topic came up as Nikki was talking about her life on the road. “Since I’ve been back on the road… it kind of gets lonely in hotel rooms and not like I want to be on Tinder, but I think it would just be fun to text people,” she said, which led to her revealing she had joined Raya.
Not Looking For Anything Serious
Nikki, who finalized her divorce from dancer Artem Chigvintsev, was clear that her priority right now is her son, Mateo, and that she has no interest in a serious relationship for the foreseeable future. “I don’t want anything now. Like, I don’t want anything serious for years, because I don’t want anything to interfere with my son and I,” she stated. “And I don’t want my son to meet anyone. I just want him to have his mom and his dad, and that’s it. I think that’s healthy for him right now.”
She continued, “So I don’t want anything like that to happen for like, years, and I don’t even want to give my energy to someone. Like, I’m raising him, and that’s all I want to give my energy and time to.” She explained that she joined the exclusive app mostly for fun and to connect with new people. “I think it would just be fun to text people,” she said.
Her Type: “Businessman with Swag”
When asked what she would be looking for in a partner in a few years, when she is ready to date seriously again, Nikki had a specific type in mind. “I have always loved, like a businessman, but that has swag,” she revealed. “You need to have swag… I don’t like just straight up business. There needs to be a cool vibe.”
Cody Rhodes then humorously pointed to his podcast’s bartender, Kyle, as a potential candidate who fits the description. Nikki playfully agreed, “Kyle’s got swag… good business suit. Yeah, you know, yeah, he would have had me at hello,” she joked.
