An Unforgettable Legacy
Hulk Hogan’s impact on WWE and the entire professional wrestling industry is immeasurable. As the leader of the “Hulkamania” movement, he was the central figure of the “Rock ‘n’ Wrestling Connection” that propelled the then-WWF into a mainstream entertainment juggernaut. He was a multi-time world champion and headlined seven of the first eight WrestleMania events, including his iconic match against André the Giant at WrestleMania III.
After leaving the company, he would once again revolutionize the business in rival promotion WCW as the villainous leader of the New World Order (nWo). Hogan’s legacy was cemented in the WWE Hall of Fame, where he was inducted twice: first as a singles competitor in 2005, and again in 2020 as a member of the nWo. He remains one of the most influential and recognizable figures in the history of the sport.
