No Timetable For The Return Of Absent AEW Star

A new report has provided an unfortunate update on the status of AEW star HOOK. The “Cold Hearted Handsome Devil” is reportedly out of action with a concussion, and there is currently no firm timetable for his return to the ring.

HOOK Sidelined With A Concussion

According to a report from Fightful Select, HOOK is not currently cleared to compete due to a concussion. The injury was sustained in his last match in April, where he teamed with Samoa Joe against Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta. During that match, HOOK was visibly sick in the ring. The report clarifies that his brief cameo during the Anarchy in the Arena match at Double or Nothing was done while he was not cleared, simply to plant seeds for a future story.

No Firm Timetable For Return

HOOK is a two-time former FTW Champion, a title created and introduced to AEW by his father, Taz. His absence leaves a void in the youth movement of AEW. Fans will have to wait for further updates on when the “Cold Hearted Handsome Devil” will be cleared to make his official return to the ring.
